A SC/ST Welfare Committee has been constituted with following members in our Kongunadu Polytechnic College, Thottiam with a view to enhance the life style of SC/ST student to provide all necessary welfare measures and to make them very rich in profession.

Objectives of the SC/ST Welfare Committee
- To make them realise human, ethical & moral values
- To redress the grievance of SC/ST Students
- To provide counselling services to SC/ST Students
- To enhance the employability skills of SC/ST Students
- To provide them more opportunity to enhance their multidimensional skill both in academic, Sports and other essential activities
- To create awareness about various WELFARE SCHEMES of Government and utilize those schemes more effectively to enrich their PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
Meetings will be conducted at periodic internals in the presence of chairperson.
